Welcome and thank you for visiting my website and showing an interest in what I do.

I write stories to champion children who are different in some way or another. I’m a mother and an educator on a pursuit to create engaging, meaningful stories to help bring a better understanding of difference. My stories touch upon what it feels like to be different, the impact and power of words and the importance of kindness and friendship. They have been written for all young readers and listeners to enjoy, to ask questions and above all, to talk about difference in a positive and uplifting way.
Together with the other stories in both series, Willow and Spud are here to bring a better understanding of diversity and inclusion to younger readers. My biggest wish is to empower everyone who reads or listens to my stories to want to bring about change and help make the world a better and more accepting place.
